Sausage Burger with Green Chile (Donald Link) Part 1

This is the first part of a three part recipe. Here are the ingredients for the sausage burger patty itself.

Mise en Place

All ingredients mixed together thoroughly and ready to form into patties

Patties formed and ready. These day I like to let them set in the ice box so they firm up and the seasonings can distribute.

Next step will be the Roasted Anaheim Chiles and making the Chile oil

That gave me a smile! I rarely hear anybody refer to "ice boxes" any more.... I grew up with that phrase!
